ALEX VIDINAS

WELCOME!

I'm a fourth-year PhD candidate in mathematics at Cornell University. My advisor is Karola Mészáros.
My interests lie at the intersection of combinatorics and knot theory; specifically, I look at ways in which combinatorics can be used to study isotopy invariants like the Alexander polynomial.
Before coming to Cornell, I completed my undergraduate degrees in honors mathematics and in physics at the Universiy of Michigan.
